Schist

There is nothing quite like the very distinctive look of New Zealand Schist, and with our fully developed and certified system of cutting and laying this quintessentially New Zealand stone, we give our customers the opportunity to enjoy it in a wide range of interior and exterior applications.  Sourced primarily, but not exclusively, from the South Island’s Central Otago region, we use purpose-built saws to cut the raw stone into flat and corner pieces which get individually glued on to a pre-prepared substrate.  The result is a light and flexible cladding system, the advantages of which are many, including the option of using schist cladding for both new builds and renovations.

Dry-stack, pointed-joint and bagged finishes are all options with this cladding.  Talk to us about your preferred stone and what look you want to achieve, even a colour will do to start.
